Our Story
Blue Bear Entertainment was born from a deeply personal experience. After founder Alberto Frias suffered a stroke in December 2017 and spent 10 months in physical therapy, he was inspired to get closer with his kids and create joyful experiences for families. Launched in 2018, Blue Bear quickly became known throughout San Diego for bringing smiles to children and giving parents much-needed relief. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit just a year after opening, Alberto didn't let it stop him—he set up bounce houses in local parks and his own front yard, offering free sessions to quarantined families who desperately needed a break. His commitment to safety, community, and spreading joy has earned Blue Bear a reputation as more than just a rental company—we're a business built on heart, kindness, and the simple belief that every kid deserves to be a kid.
